This ice maker takes about 10 minutes to produce 9 cubes, but they add up quickly. You can leave them in the ice maker, or move them to the freezer as you make them to keep them cold. However, if you leave them in the ice maker, the water is recycled to make more cubes. It is very quiet, except when dumping the cubes, which lets you know when they are done.
