Bought this i3 model because I dont think I would utilize the i5 with all its 6 cores the i3 has 4 it is doing great and does 4k video playback fine and Photoshop works great too. I would not hesitate to get the i3 over i5 if you do light video editing and Photoshop this computer packs a punch and can do alot for an i3. Having the 4 cores really helps make this a good buy and the mini is so quite I dont even know it is there. Many people would say a hackintosh is better for way less money but in the end you have to maintain it and there is no guarantee for future updates so go legit and you won't regret it.
